Partners on the Path provides self-care resources to organizations that support or benefit from the effective work and well-being of caregivers. These include health care and long term care providers, businesses and faith-based communities, as well as professional, diagnosis-related and community-based associations. Each year at least 65 million Americans experience the physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, and occupational consequences of providing more than $375 billion in “free” care to their loved ones who are ill, elderly, disabled or special-needs children. In addition to these family caregivers, there are over 14 million Americans employed in professional healthcare jobs. By providing education and consultation services, Partners on the Path helps caregivers maintain their health, diminish their stress, and preserve their productivity at work and capacity to care.

Model: Distributing content for both professional and family caregivers through healthcare providers and employers. Licensing on-line and in-print content and services. Helping businesses to manage the cost of health care benefits and maintain the productivity of employees who find themselves doing overtime as caregivers. Partners on the Path is currently beta-testing content and delivery with Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia, PA.
