Partners on the Path provides self-care resources to organizations that support or benefit from the effective work and well-being of family caregivers. These include health care and elder care providers, businesses and faith-based communities, as well as professional and community-based associations. Each year at least 30 million Americans experience the physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, and professional consequences of providing more than $350 billion in “free” care to their ill, elderly or incapacitated loved ones. By providing education and consultation services, Partners on the Path helps caregivers maintain their health, retain productivity at work, diminish their stress and preserve their capacity to care.

Model: Distribute content through healthcare providers. Beta-testing Web-based content delivery with Fox Chase Cancer Center. Licensing content and services through employee assistance programs, where businesses have an incentive to maintain the productivity of employees who find themselves doing overtime as caregivers.
